Beyond Red and Blue: Staying Human in Divisive Times, with Scott Grace
Please join us and our guest, Scott Grace, for a show on Beyond Red and Blue: Staying Human in Divisive Times. In his latest book (this working title may well change), which is planned for release in a few months, Scott blends humor, Spiritual Dr. Seuss rhymes, music, story, and spiritual insight to help people feel less polarized, rise above outrage, and reconnect with themselves and people with different points of view (and yes, with people who voted differently). In Beyond Red and Blue, Scott does not get "political." Instead, he teaches and models how to become a part of the solution, instead of contributing to the rising sense of polarization happening worldwide—by de-polarizing your mind, no matter where you stand on the political spectrum.
Scott's gifts are many—a highly sought-after author, singer, speaker, workshop leader, life coach and stand-up comedian (who used to open for such legends as Robin Williams and Dana Carvey), he rose to prominence opening for rock star authors and personal growth celebrities. He went on to star as The Spiritual Dr. Seuss, combining entertainment, wisdom, and comedy, becoming the headliner at New Thought Churches around the world. He then parlayed that talent into the corporate sector as The Boardroom Bard, and eventually, developed another career writing spot-on personalized songs to honor people on their birthdays, anniversaries and eulogies, etc. Scott's previous book is Mindful Masculinity: A Book for Men and the Women Who Love Them.
